Glencoe Photography GuideGlencoe is a truly spectacular place to see and photograph. Below I will try and show you some of the most well known spots, I will continuely update the page as I get out and photograph it more. The spots below are a good starting point but I do recommend setting aside a bit of time and having an explore around. For greater information and more spots to visit and photograph check out the excellent ‘Photographing Scotland‘ book (we have it in our sitting room)

Buachaillie Etive Mor

If you drive all the way to the South of Glencoe you’ll eventually get to the road that will take you down Glen Etive, drive down here for a short while and there will hopefully be a spot to park before or after a bridge (as marked on the map).

Take a short walk (it may be boggy) towards Buachaillie Etive Mor and you will find the waterfalls. Incredible views and minimal walking required.

Blackrock Cottage

Drive all the way to the South of Glencoe and then park at the Glencoe Mountain Resort.

From the car park walk back down the road towards the Cottage, along the way be sure to go explore the little streeam for some more great views of Etive Mor
