Our mountain biking accommodation couldn’t be in a better spot to take advantage of everything the Nevis Range has to offer. Simply bike out cross the main road and you’re in the heart of the trails, no need to drive, pay for parking or worry about biking along a busy road.

Muddy from a day on the trails? No problem. Highwinds is very well set up to deal with outdoor adventures, with a mud room to get out of your gear, washing machine, dryers, drying rack and every bedroom has an en-suite!

If you’re visiting Highwinds with Mountain Biking in mind please do let us know when booking so we can get the house ready with mountain biking in mind.

Our Setup

We have 6 wall mounts in our Log Shed, there is no door to the Log Shed however we can provide locks to secure your bike to the wall mounts. There is also a camera overlooking the entrance to the shed for added peace of mind.

How many bikes can we store?

There are enough wall mounts for 6 mountain bikes. There’s a further 4 mounts for road bikes.

We can supply bikes locks for you if you let us know you need them.

Cleaning my bike?

If you let us know you’re coming for mountain biking we can leave out our pressure washer and bike cleaning equipment for you

Fixing, maintaining my bike?

We have a bike repair stand we can leave out for you and a few bike pumps.

Worried about mud?

The entry room to Highwinds is ideal for dealing with mud with Boot trays, laundry baskets, washing machine, dryer and drying rack.
