This house was everything we could have wished for and more! Jonathan thought of everything a guest might need in a house that was comfortable, spacious, clean, beautifully designed, with to-die-for views, and with the best of the Scottish highlands on the doorstep. We didn’t want to leave and will always remember this beautiful place and this wonderful holiday!

I always try to write reviews, but Jonathan makes it easy. I don’t often check in and think WOW – this is incredible, but the Highwinds Lodge delivers!
The house is immaculate, spacious, updated and incredibly convenient (every single room has an en suite!). Beyond that, the level of detail and hospitality Jonathan provides is off the charts.

We were completely blown away by Highwinds. I’ve rented quite a few guesthouses over the years and I can say without reservation that this is the most beautiful, creatively appointed, and impeccably comfortable of them all. We live thousands of miles away but are already wondering when we can come back for a longer stay. Seriously: the place is perfect.

Superb time! This stay was by far the family’s favorite! I got major brownie points for booking it! Following stays in Edinburgh and the Inverness area, Ft William was definitely our fave.
